Born and raised in the South, specifically the “bustling metropolis” of Raleigh, NC, I now live in an actual bustling metropolis (New York City) with my darling husband (and high school sweetheart!) and our cute, strange, persnickety cat, Miss Marple.
We are two busy, harried technology professionals who are madly in love with New York City, the Upper West Side, our community, our cat, our industry and each other.
I end every day by asking if that day I lived my ideal life and I try to make decisions based on the wise words of William Morris (don’t let anything into your life that is not practical and beautiful) and Jesus (love God, love your neighbor). I think most things can be healed with hugs, yoga, peppermint tea and prayer.
